In her latest series, Amber connects with the maternal source expressed in the essence and movement of sea life, spending her days with spirits of the ocean in an attempt to entice them to share their secrets with her. In realizing that we swim on the edges, leaving our refuse in realms we dare not venture alone, she has come face to face with the ancient ones and dared to open a dialog, saying “Though you live in a cage, I come as an angel of my kind, hoping to partake in the connection between your kin and the Mother.”
